The Ranew family’s fight against brain cancer was nothing less than heroic. It was an incredible honor and labor of love to document little life moments so that his family can have memories of him forever. The Ranew family understood that the ordinary moments are often the most valuable, and what we will miss most from out loved ones. I am very glad they have these moments captured to remember forever.

This family was a joy to work with. They have created such a beautifully eclectic home, and the best part is their character. We had a lot of fun goofing off during this session enjoying ourselves and I think it shows. Hope you enjoy some of my favorites from this session.
So come with me where dreams are born, and time is never planned.
I am really digging this very cute end of year video review from the Jones Family. They decided to have their session at the place Mom and Dad originally got married since they were celebrating their ten year wedding anniversary. Dad also popped a surprise on Mom and got her a brand new ring – so that was really cool. I hope you enjoy this new idea for families, because video can say so much more than a card, and contain many more memories! Below are some of my favorite images from their session.

What I love most about this session is how Ayelet’s personality rang loud through in her session. This really comes from patient parents who trust the process even when things feel out of control, and let their child be herself. I had so much fun seeing her enjoying the water, and playing dinosaur in the tall grass. She has grown so much from my last shoot with her, and so glad her parents came all the way down from north of Atlanta to let me document this fun stage of life for her. So here are just a few of my favorites from her session. Happy second birthday Ayelet! It was an honor to see you take your first breath, and continue to document more of your life earthside.
We had a lot of fun playing in the fall evening light under the trees filled with Spanish moss.I love taking some time to get parents in front of the camera before adding the babies. It’s great to get the connecting before the session starts and I think it can really make things a little less stressful. It was so fun getting to pick out everyone’s outfits and coordinating the clothing. Mama looked stunning in the floral burgundy dress! Here are a handful of my favorites from this session.
The Roeben’s are always such a fun family to shoot. They so easily forget about the camera and play. It probably helps that Mom is a pretty awesome photographer. We went just over the border to North Carolina for this beautiful spot. I hate that it is so littered with graffiti, but it did add to the session rather than take away, and I think that was part of incredible clothing choice. I love that they brought their family fur member along for the shoot. Amanda really knocked her BoHo look hopes out of the park. Loved all the jewelry and attention to detail she put in. Enjoy some of my favorites from this session! The last shot is probably one of my favorites. Raising three boys can be chaotic and it’s a great reminder to take time to connect in the chaos.
